Sometimes do a 10000 to keep the challenge there. Total weight loss is about 45 lbs, 30 in the last 3 months. I’m lucky to have healthy knees. Each mile burns about 110 calories according to Garmin so I don’t run for the calories, mostly the heart and mental health benefits. Though it does remind me how hard it is to work off 100 calories, I think it helps me not eat as much. Sorry if I came off arrogant, just that running is my thing now and it’s easier to get into than people think.

I find running Pretty Labrador The Only Thing Making This 2020 Shitshow Together Shirts t+o be very therapeutic. I used to get really bad shin splints in tank school, but I couldn’t exactly stop in the middle of PT so I had to push through it. For anyone having problems with shin splints, being adequately hydrated can help a lot. My first two weeks were fucking hell. The running wasn’t the problem, it was the recovery afterward. I’d run in the late afternoon, drink a liter of water or two, and by dinner, I was still almost puking from the headaches and muscle cramps. I started to make an (oral solution) with lime syrup and a pinch of salt and that’s what stopped the “blinding vomit migraine” pains. It’s like really weak.
