Christmas is the only day we’re closed so honestly I’d rather relax by myself and do nothing because to me it’s just another day off and I’ll be back the next day. Same with Thanksgiving if I’m lucky enough to be off. One of my favorite Christmas memories was just quietly wrapping a few gifts with my roommate while we had the ‘Yule log’ playing on the tv. With age and independence, I’ve been able to celebrate it, and safe to say I absolutely love it, and having the freedom to see your family and loved ones on such a special day is brilliant. It’s just a fact that playing games feel better during December and I don’t know why maybe it’s because you can wrap a blanket around yourself and get all comfy while you play your favorite game. I think it can seem like a drag if you don’t have a big family. It’s just me and my two grown kids.
